Initial consultations consist of a one hour consulting session to individuals or families to provide counseling and direction.  Licensed and Certified Geriatric Care Managers are available to review all social, financial, medical, and legal issues and create a customized plan for you.  Our extensive knowledge base can provide you with a referral network of providers, physicians, specialists, psychiatrists, and assisted living or nursing home communities.  If an assisted living community or nursing home is chosen,  we can assist you with paperwork and transition to placement.  Our professionals will give you the tools and resources to optimize your benefits. EAPrefer efficiently helps EAP network providers find qualified professionals easily and quickly and is a National Association of Social Workers(NASW) program.  Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are workplace employee benefits intended to help individuals with personal issues adversely affecting their work, health, and well-being.  EAPs typically involve short-term counseling by qualified professionals and referral services.  The goal of this short-term counseling is to help employees address their problems, helping them return to a more productive life and work environment.  EAP counseling services are typically offered to employees at no cost to them; the costs are borne by the employer through their contract with the EAP network provider.  BGC offers counselors for EAP programs.
